The One Percent.org

Maxam Architecture has joined "The One Percent.org" A site dedicated to connecting architects with non-profit organizations in need of pro-bono work. From their website... "If every architecture professional in the U.S. committed 1% of their time to pro bono service, it would add up to 5,000,000 hours annually - the equivalent of a 2,500-person firm, working full-time for the public good." I'm looking forward to opportunities to do some good with these organizations and work on unique projects and designs I might not otherwise get the opportunity to implement and express.
